Holi (the festival of colours) 2024

Our school (NJES) celebrated pre Holi with crafts, and games, making it a memorable event for students.

Holi, known as the Festival of Colors, is a vibrant celebration that heralds the arrival of spring. It’s a time when people come together to play, laugh, and forget their differences. The festivities begin with Holika Dahan, the lighting of bonfires to symbolize the triumph of good over evil. The following day, everyone joins in the joyous activity of throwing colored powders and water at each other, creating a vivid tapestry of hues. This joyous occasion fosters unity and a sense of renewal, as participants drench each other in color without regard for social boundaries.
